How do you keep the attention of children to educate them?
Dr Aric Sigman paints a grim picture in his landmark book, “Remotely Controlled†where he argues how over exposure to media and particularly television, is ruining our lives. Regrettably, he details how that impact is significant for the young.

How to educate our young in hyperactive world
Being concerned for the welfare of future generations – we stumbled onto a solution – just a sheer co-incidence. These children need to be active so actively educate.
How this happens seems to be linked to how we react to things that to us, seem larger than life.  For example objects like Eyre’s Rock in Australia, The Pyramids in Egypt, and The Eiffel Tower in Paris, just to name a few.
It seems we have a fixation with the larger than normal.Large things do catch our attention.
In a similar fashion, moving from a table top game to something you have to walk around and where you don’t have board pieces because you are the pieces, it becomes “Alice in Wonderland†like. We’ve found it holds the attention of children and adults alike.
It’s from this point we invented giant games to educate.

There’s now wide variety of these giant games to teach children and gain improved educational outcomes. Kids live the experience of learning by being physically active and moving and so learn in a more dynamic, interactive manner.
We’ve observed how aboriginal education with giant games worked extraordinarily well because traditionally these stories were conveyed by sitting in a circle and looking at images scratched in the earth. Giant games, with the ability to share stories of Country all seems so much more â€in the traditional way†for those learning.

Fundraising with giant games is gaining popular support with those running school fetes, fairs and community events. Â Games when played at this size involve social interaction; people helping, sharing, laughing and participating. It creates a great atmosphere.
