As a child, my parents always tell me the importance of a good education very impressed. My father in particular, always told my brothers and sisters and me, we should strive to become number one in our studies. Because of the strict nature of my father, good grades is the rule, while achieving low grades led to the penalty. Needless to say, my brothers and sisters and I achieved the status of honor in our role of K through the college years. However, as I arrived, things began to change the school for me. I was a little boy that my father had followed all the claims of fear. Meanwhile I had been in the streets of Brooklyn and hardened difficult question of whether there could be a good education (formal) to get me out of that environment. P>
see in my community, I knew a few high school graduates, college graduates much less. My parents had limited education and fought for my brothers and sisters and I, like many who grew up in poor communities, I had my share of pain and struggle. How today’s youth who are high school dropout in a record, I doubt their powers of transformation of formal education encouraged by my parents and teachers. I do not think that formal education alone could turn my socio-economic. Therefore, I started formal education and proposes to devalue (cutting classes). Fortunately, I began to realize the error in my thinking, by the intervention of counselors from the school. I fought for high school graduates must attend summer school in two years in a row, in addition to evening classes. However, I did graduate, but what to do!? P>
Today, we hear news about the high drop-out downtown for high school students across America. I believe that this high dropout rate to be understood by the inability of the youth and is based to witness the transforming power of education within their communities. As a 34 year old man with a PhD, I can now testify to the transformative powers of a good education, but not one that is official. I have seen examples of the educational system forces transformation in the lives of my colleagues, and in my own life. However, most people maintain a promotion or even get a university degree. Does this mean they are in a life of suffering and pain because of their socio-economic is doomed to failure? not necessarily the case because a large proportion of millionaires in America without a diploma of the College. P>
done, however, statistics show that correlates the level of formal education directly to their own income (high, plus income) and employability (degree, the higher the level of employability) . Thus, it is safe to say that formal education has transformative power in terms of not a socio-economic. But it’s just high school and college graduates have the answer to unlocking the transformative power of education? P>
Take a look at the nature of education. Education is learning all the basic skills like reading, writing and mathematics, then building on these skills to more complex subjects such as science, history and economics. What you are, as you do, the master and develop your intellectual skills, teaching your brain to learn. P>
What are the options
learn best?
What subjects interest me the most?
What subjects do I find it easier to learn?
What issues help me change my life?
What questions to help realize the vision of my life? P> is
These are questions you should ask yourself as you learn how to learn, it (education). The truth is that formal education is a positive point, but after this stage, it is not necessary for everyone. The reason is that once you learn the basics, as described above, you can take the initiative to go to libraries, museums, art galleries, theaters, and surf the Internet for everything you learn it deems appropriate. Many successful people such as former President Abraham Lincoln was self taught. But keep in mind that many of us have the discipline or desire to learn for the sake of learning, K-12 set, designed schools, colleges and universities program officials to legitimize our teaching experience with a diploma, certificate of completion or closure. The level in particular, was popular among American employers in the 1960s, when America moved from the industrial age to the information age. Before this change could be high school graduate and get a good middle class job at the same factory that his father worked in. But, like thousands of manufacturing jobs because of outsourcing and globalization, has a university degree for those essentially disappear in the world today, the rise of new work (the world of business). But
, is the opportunity of a socio-economic use to really transform formal education for all? Although formal education (K-12) is now available for everyone in America, always a good formal education is still at a premium. For example, the center (K-12 schools) have always underperformed public when their suburban public / private school counterparts over. Therefore, socio-economy seems to be a factor has access to high quality education. Another example is in the field of higher education, where the cost of attending a four-year institution has exceeded inflation, so that visitors find a school a dream for some and a burden for others it is difficult to repay student loans great, after studying. What is someone who use to convert his formal education in life? Well you must first assess its future goals. parents to participate in the education of your child. Get involved with teachers and other parents. Follow the pace of political issues and vote on it in the best interest of your child. And of utmost importance to seek and provide examples of the transformative power of education to your child. Make sure they understand that the essence of education is not to say a diploma or degree prestigious and now pay me “for some employers. P>
The essence of education is learning, learning to learn so that you can do what you deem necessary to transform your life. P>
not abandon school to help your cause.

a certain extent, does not fit your vision of life, easy to acquire, because it is easier, you really need is level does not help your cause.
